Do you want 10 free trades every month?

I just found a great online trading web site called Zecco.com.
If you have a minimum of $2500 in your account (probably most every one has that much), you will get 10 free trades every month. Even if you don't, each trade costs only $4.50 only. That sure beats my current TD Ameritrade account which charges me $9.99.

On an average I probably make 12-20 trades every month.
So at TD Ameritrade ($9.99/trade) is going to cost me about: $119.88 - $199.80 / month
At Zecco (10 free and $4.50/trades) is going to cost me about: $9 - $45 / month
That's a minimum of over $100 savings every month.

I use Jim Cramer's Action Alerts for trading advice in addition to Google, Yahoo and MSN for charts and news. So, for my investing style, Zecco.com is much cheaper.

Here is a link to visit their web site:
Check it out for yourself.

At least I plan to give it a try. I promise I will post my experiences with Zecco.com in my blog here.

What do you know?

"Not Much!!!" seem to be a standard reply you get from most of the people, which includes me too. Most of the time I just say it from the tip of my toungue with out even thinking the meaning of these words that I have learned in my early years of American Life. But when I think a little bit about it, I can see how appropriate that answer is.

No matter how smart you are or how much formal education you may have, there will always be more to learn. There is only ONE that knows all and as you are very well aware that ONE is not you. (If you really think you are the ONE, I don't know why you are reading this blog, as you should already know what's in here). Accepting this simple fact, that we do not know much, makes us humble students of life in pursuit of knowledge.

I think every one should really ask themselves this question every day. And by accepting the fact that we do not know much, we should make a commitment to learn some thing new every day. Learning will improve your knowledge which in turn will help you feel confident and understand other people and cultures better.

If you are not sure what to learn every day:
  • Just look around you and ask yourself, How does that work?
  • Think about how it may be working in its current design.
  • Take one more step and think how you would have designed it, if you had that idea first.
If you are totally lost, you may find some canned questions and answers in http://www.wikihow.com
